MAG Box IPTV Review 2026: MAG 544w3 and MAG 524w3

In this guide

Is a MAG box still good for IPTV?

Yes, if you want a single IPTV portal on a simple remote. A MAG box from Infomir runs Linux, not Android: you enter a portal address, the provider links your box’s MAC address, and the channels appear. It is reliable and easy for older viewers, but it has no app store, so it only works with services that offer a MAG portal. We do.

    MAG questions

What is the MAC address for?

It identifies your box to the portal. You find it on the label under the box and in the settings menu; the provider links your login to it.

Can I use Xtream Codes or M3U on a MAG?

MAG boxes are made for portals. For Xtream Codes or M3U logins, an Android-based box is the better choice.

Whatever box you pick, test it with our free 24-hour trial before you pay for anything. Setup steps for each box are in our setup guides.
